ABOUT JULIA
Julia Trickey is an award-winning British botanical artist based in the historic city of Bath.
Exhibiting regularly, Julia’s glowing watercolours depict the beauty and details of nature. The stunning botanical works feature in numerous collections world-wide. Amongst her numerous awards Julia has four RHS gold medals. Julia’s illustrations have been used on Royal Mail stamps of British Flora.
Julia’s work has been selected for inclusion in the Transylvania Florilegium presently being created under the umbrella of the Prince of Wales’s Foundation Romania to record in a permanent way the flora of Transylvania
Julia has over twenty years of tutoring experience and runs regular courses in the UK and beyond.
As a member of the Society of Botanical Artists, The American Society of Botanical Artists and a Fellow of the Chelsea Physic Garden Florilegium Society, Julia’s work is highly regarded.
Julia has published a number of popular books focusing on botanical watercolour techniques, available on Etsy.
