3 DAY ART COURSE WITH LINDSAY BREWSTER

17/18/19th June 2020

We are so sorry but with the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak we have decided to cancel all our courses for 2020.

We will  be welcoming British artist and tutor Lindsay Brewster to La Chapelle D'Escrimis for a fun and informative three day course workshop this June.

Lindsay has been painting since a young child and has always particularly enjoyed picking up objects to paint during her walks. Although still life is her favourite, she is equally happy with landscapes but admits her heart lies in teaching, she absolutely loves to help her students to realise their creative potential, encouraging each with their own style and preferred subject.

During the three days the group will visit a nearby picturesque village location to sketch and paint. There will be a light picnic lunch provided.

The balance of the time will be spent back at Escrimis, working in either the Chapelle Atelier or 'plein air'  in the extensive grounds.

The course is aimed at participants of all levels, who either reside in the region or who will organise their own accommodation, transport, breakfast and dinner. This will be an English-speaking course.

Morning sessions will be from 10 am to 12.30 to include coffee and refreshment break.

A light lunch will be served from 12.30 to 1.30

Afternoon session 2.30-4.30 but with break for tea and cake.

You are welcome to continue to use the chapel atelier until 6pm to catch up or complete your work (no tutor during this period).

You will need to bring your own paints, brushes, paper and pencils. We will have a limited supply of some items in the event you forget something. The course is primarily watercolour orientated but you may use acrylic if you prefer. A full list of what you need will be sent out nearer the time.
