We are delighted to welcome Lucy Levenson to Escrimis for the first of our textile courses in the Autumn of 2020. This inspirational course will be a four-day workshop.
Lucy will teach you to work on your own version of her latest designs ' Hare in Flower Meadow '. Your panel will be made with vintage fabrics, hand sewn embroidery silks and fabric paint and will be approximately 18' x 18', easily rolled to take home in your bag. It will be ideal to frame as a work of art or incorporate into a soft furnishing or a wall hanging.
You will be taught how to make and use a pattern and how to use colour and design that incorporates fabric. You will be using a combination of fabric paint and hand sewing for detail. At the conclusion of the course you will have the skills and confidence to continue with your own textile creations. All levels of experience welcome but if you would like to find out if this is the right course for you, please email us.
All materials will be included, vintage fabric, embroidery silks, fabric paint and equipment necessary.
Morning sessions will be from 9.30 to 12.30 but include coffee and refreshment breaks.
Lunch will be served from 12.30 to 1.30
